"Ignorance is Strength"

This is the third in a series of pieces inspired by Nineteen Eighty-Four. I wanted to do a series that was based on the three slogans of the party, and how they related to current events.

To be frank, who else over the last 10 years better embodies the idea that is "Ignorance is Strength"? Despite his lack of knowledge on basically everything, his constant blunders as Commander-in-Chief, admitting he didn't read much, ignoring warnings of terrorism pre-9/11/01... the man enjoyed life knowing that the fact he DIDN'T know much was his greatest strength.

If he ever writes an autobiography... I would love to see this as the title.

I sometimes think that Bush is just to stupid to realize all that happened under his presidency (and the consequences).

However, as far as I'm concerned about humanity he isn't all that more stupid than most humans either.

I'm not sure just how ignorant Bush really was, considering his college transcript, but I'd agree that his time as President was characterized by ignorance as to what was really occurring. Which leads me to my thoughts on that autobiography you mentioned -- I'm wondering if "Decision Points" was ghostwritten by Cheney, since that would be oddly appropriate considering the real power in the Bush White House.

You should do one for Obama with the words WAR IS PEACE. Then we'd have an excuse for the Peace Prize he won.

The only edit I'd suggest is changing "America" to Amerka.

haha, That would be perfect title for his book! I think he knew far more then he lead to believe though! It almost seems by acting dumb he has been let off of messing things up and diverted attention from the issues in question to the idiot instead. He, like most politicians I suppose, got away with far to much!

I'd like to see what you would come up with for Tony Blair, his British bosom buddy!
