"Stop and Frisk Saves Lives!" - This message brought to you by the Philadelphia Department of Fear

This is the second poster in a series of propaganda posters made for The Department of Trepidation, an organization dedicated to helping and informing the public of what their government is up to.

You can view the full site here: The Department of Trepidation

NOW BEFORE YOU GET MAD, READ THIS: I actually don't agree entirely with this. In fact, I hate the policy on a whole. I don't believe its a racist concept, but I believe that the way it has been implemented does show a bias against the poor. I've never been stopped or frisked myself, and trust me I fit the description of what some people think would.

This is a poster to make people think and ask themselves about the policy, so please, spread the message and start the debate; are we really OK with our local governments enforcing a policy that makes it legal to randomly stop and search people without reason?

This coming for the same thugs who also claim that taking off your shoes at the airport is a necessary security measure, among other draconian excuses.

What is there to debate? Who would allow their govt to create such a policy in the first place? Trading liberty for security does not work.

Republicans, to put it simply.

If only it was that simple.

The problem is that various cities have implemented, from my hometown of Philadelphia to New York City. The implementation wasn't made possible by people voting for it, just the few in actual power who are meant to represent us.

I live in Croatia, a rather peaceful place to live. I don't know how it is in the states, but let me tell you this. I talk about this a lot with my friends, and we all agree that it looks like that your whole country is surounded by some kind of media shield. Almost as if the people are not aware or don't care about the things that are going on there. It is as if your govt is waging a war on its own citizens. And we can't believe it when we are looking at things like this, since a lot of us are active in our liberal democrate party. Maybe we see the things in a different way, but we should agree that the politics need more young people involved. And it is not a strange thing that young people that are involved in the politics all over the planet follow Ron Paul's message of liberty. We can't all be wrong. Can we?

Hope I answered your question.
